Learning to give wholeheartedly is challenging at times especially when that someone does not deserve it. I pushed my self to helped but it was hard since the person has just refused to helped with a simple task he can do in just 5 minutes. What then pushed me to do what I did? is the desire to change to be a better person ... a person that will help, that do good even the surrounding is not good to me.

So it is almost Christmas. I have no plan for Christmas vacation nor do I have a plan for an open house. Another year is over and yet I'm still wondering what I've done. This year has been amazing. All three of my daughter are all in school. Gabriella in Second grade, Isra at kindergarten, and Adel is in Toddler class. Career wise I'm going back on doing Engineering in the next view weeks. It took longer than 2 years as I planned before to be back but I guess God has the perfect timing for me.

Bad day

Well, I would not count today as my favorite day... The day started slow then it went bad and then I don't feel like doing anything... On the bright side, my kids are growing and getting smarter everyday... Here is a picture of them...

This past Christmas vacation was one of the best Christmas Holiday. My Husband, and my 3 little daughter went to Sorong where my in-laws lived. Some of the memories I'd like to remember are: 1. The amazement I get from Jembatan puri of so many fresh fish so early in the morning. 2. The love of my mother in-law on cooking many of my favorite food. 3. Celebrating Christmas eve with Soto Ayam and Christmas day with Sop Tulang 4. Celebrating the day after Christmas with Going swimming at Saoka Beach which feels like the first time going there. Having fun playing with tides with my babies Adelbert and Yisrael. 5. Getting a phonecall about my uncle and my cousin who was at a motor bike accident on Christmas day. 6. Thinking of ways to give a small gift to everyone at home. 7. Getting to know Chuex, Mike, Luitzen, David, Matheas, Chiko... 8. Getting to meet Debora, and Dean, debora's Dad. 9. Spending a little time with my sister inlaw 10. Makan Ikan bakar di Tembok Berlin 11. Sakit 1 hari sebelum tahun baru dan kemungkinan tahun baru di pantai gak jadi.... 12. having New Year Celebration away from the caos that the whole wide world are making with so much noise and having a small family get together and having devotion there at the Saoka beach.... 13. Having a lot of family come and visit us at our camp January 1 2013 morning... 14. Planning to go to Raja Ampat, how ever didn't go because of exhaustion and sick kids. 15. Missed our flight somehow when we came they said it was fully booked but we already have reservation so we fly the next day without penalty. 16. Doing last minutes assignment for gabriella... and went to a crocodile .... what you call it... dent? (penangkaran buaya) 17. Went to Klamono and for the first time see kabupaten Aimas... it's an awsome place... next time, we have to see pelabuhan kontainer. and finaly 18. Went back to Kuala Kencana.

Blessings

Well, how do I start? I am expecting a baby girl to be born in a month, I am looking at buying a house, my oldest daughter is going to preschool next month!!! Life is just keep blossoming, eventhough my career seems to take a halt. As for being a real engineer, is so out of site right now, but probly in 3 or 4 years from now.

In three days I will be having my long mathernity leave from where I work, and I am looking forward for that. It means that I have time to rest, to get the house ready in time for the baby, although it kinda left behind, because I can only have it done on weekends, and ussually on weekend I'd rather sleep than doing anything else.

Next order things to do is to figure out a day at which I can have the baby... unfortunate but I can't have the baby normal so I have to have a c section.... which I don't want to do.

2009 update

That's a picture of my baby girl, Gabriella. She is growing up so fast. she's learning her abcs as she play with the toy her father sent for her. she also has a puppy that she takes care off. They share time, bed, even milk. I thought that was cute.

I've change job again and been a week working at the new job. With not many responsibilities yet, the job is easy enough. I just thought that there are so many things that makes work in here enjoyable, but also so many things that makes it not as cool as I thought it would be.
One of the coolest thing I like working here is, definately the weather. I love comming out of work and still enjoy the warmth of the sunshine, yet it was not overly hot that it feels so pleasant on the skin. It is just like comming out of the Air conditioned room on a summer day in Oklahoma. I love that feeling.
Another good thing, for this year, my husband, will not have many trips to the junggle for exploration, so I got to spend time with my husband every night and talk about our plans, dreams and many other thing. Moreover, many people here are Christian, and twice a week we meet and pray which are cool I thought.
As for things that makes the job isnt as cool, is how the job is. I kinda like engineering work a lot more than that of administarial work. At this new job, it is all administarial work. I might just have to get my time here for at least a year then look for another engineering Job.

Another Good news, My baby girl is on the way and she is about 22 weeks now. My husband and I have been calling her with a boy name from the time we know that we are pregnant, but the docter told us that she is a girl so we started to call her with a different name. Edward, my husband, has had the names long befor they are born so the minutes that we knew we are pregnant, the baby alredy has a name.
We will name our baby girl Eljoline Yisrael with a nick name of "isra" I thought it is cute. The name is the abriviation of all Edward's sisters and Yisrael means "God of Israel" I think... so hopefully with bearing the name of great women and God, that she will be a blessing for everyone she gets to know through her life time.

Well that's probly what is up with me this month. probly more up dates soon enough.

New Year

So I got to meet my husband's sisters over the new year. Kak Else, Kak Lisa, kak Mei, Kak Joe, lerry. Oh I also get to see my husband's brother, They are a lot of fun to be with. I didn't get to spend much time with them because while I was away with them my dad went to the hospital and was in a coma. So I had to cut the family reunion very short, only from December 31st up to the 3rd of January.
I got 3 weeks vacation this christmas, starting on December 21st up to january 10th. I spend christmas with my family in jayapura. I got to see my baby, Gabriella all that time. It made me happy to see that Gabriella loves edu so much. She wanted to do everything only with Edu. :) that always made me smile. I would not dream that she will get that attached with edu, before, but now seeing how she interacts with Edu, made me believe there is a special bond between the two of them. Before my husband and I went for our vacation, I got so sick almost everyday... Edu told me that I might be pregnant, and I told him that it cant be, I was just too tired from work and the christmas celebration we made on December 11th. Then we finally test it, and I was pregnant, I haven't been to the doctor yet, but I might already be two month pregnant now. I Should go soon. well other then that.... Nothing really new. I might be resigning out of my job in a month or two. we will see.

Happy Me

Life is great the past year.

I got a job almost a year ago. I had been on training but as I get use to everything, doing the job is so easy. I am busy most of my working hour but I tried not to bring any job related work home. I work as a mechanical engineering at an underground department of a mining Company. It is so much fun, I design drain system, and services piping network for the mine. I love the job. My bos is such a cool, smart guy... hey, I can't asked for a nicer bos then him.

I am now married to such a loving husband and I thank God everyday that I actually meet and marry him. So Gentel, so loving, and most of all, He loves the Lord. Eventhough we have not been living together, because of the complicated work locations, it's been such a good marriage. We both learn to conform to each others need and keep trying to have good communications.

That is all for now. When I have time, I will post his picture :)

Home

So I am so happy to be able to be home. I got to spend so much time with Gabriella. She is growing so fast. When I got home, she already have her two front theet out. Now she can sit all by her self for a long time and start to crawl around. It is such a joy to see her to be able to do something new for the first time.

Eventhough I am happy I can spend time with her, I might have been a little depressed. I sometimes cried for no reason. I might just have to go out with some friends sometimes so I wont go nuts just staying home. As for work, the company who had given me the green light has not said anything further so I dont know what they are thinking. I think it's a bit harder for the company as to figure out what kind of salary I should be getting since I was graduated from a university in US but they also are not sure as what to expect from me.

Just to be random, I am also happy, that the manggo tree on my backyard has so much fruit. I got to eat fresh manggo everyday. Juicy and so sweet!!! yay!!! it is in a way a lot better than chocolate.

well that's all for now I may stop by again later on.

Blue like Jazz

Fide, a good friend of mine, has given me a book called, "Blue like Jazz." I had just finished the book. The book was about how a christian struggle with some of the basic concepts of being a christian. It really help to open our mind, especially for us who are living around a christian "buble". Sometimes when we are out of our comfort zone is when we learn the most. He went to one of the most "heatan" college, yet love it there... he shows that christian faith can grow outsite of the "buble."
well, if you ever want to read it. This book is really good. I recomend it.

10 kualitas pribadi

Survival Guide at Oklahoma Christian

One day Cherry went home and said that Elkin's had given them a planner. So I check out the planner. Inside it, there are quotes on how to survive during college in OC.

The first one is from our president. Dr. Oneal saying, "Always wear a hard hat when sproting a neck tie."

Then if you flip the page over and find a wild life survival tip #00241 saying, "Skunk can only spray you when pointing away from you. Stay safe by maintaining eye contact at all times."

Flotation Survival Tip #00104
"In the event of an emergency, your chapel seat could possibly serve as a flotation device."

Wheather Savety Survival Tip #00120
"If you find yourself in the middle of a tornado, spin rapidly in the opposite direction."

Technology Survival Tip #00147
"Laptops work best above water"

Church survival Tip #00182
"Setting multiple alarm clocks will ensure a consistent church arrival time."

Insomnia Survival Tip #00201
"Stop, Drop & Nap."

Digestion Survival Tip #00212
"Eat pizza slowly to avoid choking and accidental ingestion of pizza box."

Toxic Fumes Survival Tip #00134
"Gas mask and other air freshening device are a necessary defense from the salty aroma of the Purina factory on days with a west wind."

Food Survival Tip #00981
"Microwave ovens work best when the dor is kept closed while cooking."

Social Life Survival Tip #00254

Mom

First week of school is good. I am happy. I got to see the people I love. The high light, I got to see Kim. She's my 4th mom that I have, not nececarilly that they are married to my dad but I called them mom because they let me call them mom and I know that they love me. I am lucky to be able to call these 4 ladies as mom. I guess rather than talking about the firt week of school, I would rather talk about these wonderfull women who taught me to love and who made a lot of difference in my life.

The first one, ofcourse, is my biological mom. Her name is Magdalena Woisiri. I can't ask for a better mom. Although she never get the taste of going through highschool, she is one smart lady. Not to mention that she is really creative. From knitting, crochetting, you name it, she can do it all and do it well. She has many tallents, but the one that help me go through life is the way she love her family. Her main language of love is service to other. I guess that is where I got that, it is also what my primary language of love. I am so lucky to have learned to love other from her because now, more then ever I can see that the love I sow on others has come back to me. Now more than ever I have many friends that will always be there for me. So thanks to my mom that I have learn a valuable life lesson which I can use all my life. That is to love the people around me.

The second mom is my hostmother in Vermont. Her name is Denise Bowen. I remembered there were times when I did not like Denise, but now looking back, I am thankfull to have known her. She taught me to be more mature and to have more dicipline. The one thing that stuck with me was she always said that I should be more appreciative of the thing I have. She is my mom going through highschool. Two Thumbs up for her! She did a good job of parenting, for having to have a teenage girl in her house for three years. Although I never really open up to her during the three years that I stayed with her, now, more than ever, she is my best friend who always have her ears open when ever I need an ear to talk about my life.

The third one is my roommate and best friend's mom. Becky's mom. Mary Huntly. One of the most giving and unselfish mom I ever known. She will do anything for her family. I have to tell you that, when I went home with Becky, her parents treat me like their own daughter. I can feel so much love in that house. One thing that amazes me the most is mom Huntly works straigh from 1:00 am untill 5:00 pm and at the end of the day you only hear her said her leg hurts and no other complaints. If I am mom Huntly, I probly have 1001 complaint to say every day. One thing I know is she is really strong and that inspires me to be as strong as she is.

The fourth one is ofcourse, Kim. She's a lady I've known since my freshmen year in OC. She's from Thailand and she always made my day better after I talk to her. She just have that charming personality. She pretty much play the role of being my mom here in Oklahoma Christian University. She listen to my problems and gave me posible solutions and always gave me encouragement in doing what my heart desire. I would even say that she is one reason why I am still in engineering after I found out I don't enjoy the classes as much anymore almost a year and a half ago.

Well thanks to all this wonderfull women, who have come to my life and leave a footprint in my heart.

Ode to Toastmasters

by Blair Dodson

Dear Toastmasters you’ve been such a friend to me;
You made me into the best speaker I could possibly be.
You have made me laugh and made me cry;
In my life you have been the all time high.
Throughout systems we have spent countless hours together,
Just because role is taken by our friend Heather.
You came into my life with such a bang,
And now we leave you with our president John Chang.
Goodbye to all the memorable votes we have heard in this place,
From the Cowboy, to the panther, and even Wright Patterson Air Force Base,
From Brady Shumate for VP of Education to not John Harris,
To all of the Charles Gregg throws like a girl votes meant to embarrass.
A fond farewell to the speeches we will miss in the fall,
But here’s to “Why Men Should Wear Pink”, “A Life in Hairstyles”, and “Professors in the Restrooms” speeches we all can recall.
Every Wednesday at 11:30 am there will be a hole in our heart,
From the pledge, to the bell, to the handshakes, and the general we’ll miss every part.
Goodbye Toastmasters our dear old friend,
You have been with us throughout systems to the very end.
We will miss you very sadly,
Although we could use the $27 very badly.
And now Toastmasters we in Systems III bid you ado,
Also to the kids in Systems I and Dr. Ryan too.

Take this test at Tickle

Meilani, you're a Cocker Spaniel!

No bones about it, you're a perky, loving Cocker Spaniel. (Think Lady from Lady and the Tramp.) Playful and energetic, you're a real people person — er, dog. People can't help but fall hook, line, and sinker for your friendly, well-rounded personality and natural charm. It's a subtle thing, though — being outgoing and flirtatious, not showy, is the name of your game. Friends, co-workers, and potential dates can't help liking you. How could they not? Your winning-yet-humble ways make you popular, admired, and a joy to be around. Woof!

What Breed of Dog Are You?
Brought to you by Tickle
